So, today I head into Imabari in about an hour and dance with the kiddies. I’ll be wearing my new iPod shuffle, which I purchased the day before yesterday. I walked 8 miles to get it - and that is not a lie - it’s really accurate. 8.421 miles to be exact. I figured it out with a Googlemaps Pedometer Mashup that calculates distance using one of Google’s APIs. Slick. Anyhoo - today is my test run. Yay!

In other news, Nicole has a great video link at her blog. For anyone wanting to see a humorous take on all of the teaching styles out there (made by the Coca-Cola Company for their Fanta line, no less), visit Nicole’s blog and hit the link. It’s worth it. I should, however, mention that it will never beat my favorite ridiculous Japanese commercial.

If you’re familiar with “Paper, Rock, Scissors” or “Rock, Paper, Scissors” in Japanese, then you’ll get it. The joke is that “scissors” (choki) becomes “choco” (chocolate), the “paper” (pa) becomes “party,” and the “rock” (gu) becomes “good.” Here’s a very lazy commercial from a long while back: Choco. Party. Good, good.

Anyhoo - I’ll catch you guys later. Gotta go get my groove on. Wish me luck.
