Nicole - I imagine that as I travel around other areas in Asia, especially Southeast Asia, that I'll have more and more currency related funny moments. I have to admit, that it's freaky to be clutching a fistful of Monopoly money which has real world value. Know what I mean?

Megumi - めぐみめぐみメガネ。。。Ha ha ha. I was wondering what you were up to. I'm glad you haven't disappeared. I hope you like your job in Tokyo more than the one you were doing in Kyoto. :-) I also hope you're well.

The won is simply ridiculous. I remember getting my money changed too and was astounded by how many zeros appeared on the bills. Imagine having to buy a car and paying 1.3 x 10 to the 27th won. Slight exaggeration, but just barely. They need to rethink those denomination. Crazy pound puppy eaters.
