「食う」はくだけた男性の話し言葉ですよね。
「食いつく」は、ここ数年の俗語で、ある話題に興味を示す時に使います。カジュアルな話し言葉や、ブログのコメント欄で見かけます。
You are right.
“Kuu” is a casual spoken word for men, as you know.
“Kuitsuku” is a slang in recent years and used when you are interested in some topic. You hear it in the casual conversation or see in the comment sections of a blog.

that’s why I publish a good feed of shared items from my reader; I always share my articles that I do for the probe, and don’t have to hassle with posting again. Ah convienience…
