Today’s September 11th. I’ve not forgotten the tragedy that took place in New York early on this morning in 2001. I’m still waiting for the towers to be rebuilt.

  • Well, I don't know what "help" entails. We all know that "help the student translate this" actually means "translate this in the student's stead." Then again, could mean help by being clipboard signer-in guy. Never know. :-P
  • ... it's a competition? They haven't given me any choice - I'm going. But anything to get to matsu on a Friday, eh?

    They asked you to help do a presentation eh? Wowzers.
  • Chuck - Yup, it's the 四国英研大会 (しこくえいけんたいかい / Shikoku Eiken Taikai / Shikoku English Competition). I'm going. Apparently they want me to aid in a presentation on better team teaching. I'm considering it my chance to utter my real feelings about some of the lousy teachers I teach with (without naming names, obviously). I'm kind of disappointed that I'm not judging something, though. You should go! It'll be....fun...or something...!
  • I can hardly believe it's been 6 years since then...

    I still get chills thinking about it.


    On a completely unrelated note - have you gotten any thing lately asking you to go to 松山 on 10/26... they told me it's a JET thing, I'm wondering if it's only HS alts.
