I love finding out that something I found so incredibly impressive was nothing more than duct taping, a paper clip, and some chewing gum. I revere that kind of nonsense in the same way that I thought (ok...stil think) that MacGuyver was pretty friggin' cool when you pull all the cheez-wiz out of it. You know? Childish, maybe, but it's still cool to me... Wow – see, I’m the complete opposite. I always remember watching Walking with Dinosaurs in total awe as a kid, only to have the magic destroyed when I saw "the making of..." recently. Turned out half the program consisted of close-up puppets and a guy just off-screen with his hand inside their heads. Oh, and alot of it was filmed in New Zealand, so that didn't help either. :p Made for a good laugh though... Hmm…commentary is one of those bitter-sweet things.
