Precious Punkin

November 1st, 2007

Awww…don’t even try to tell me that the mini-pumpkin jack-o’-lantern I carved isn’t adorable. Cause it is. Ha ha. It’s got to be one of the smallest ones I’ve ever seen. Made it for a night class. The teacher got these dinky little pumpkins (2 of them, actually) for carving – I got one and a lucky student got the other. She made the other 6 kids carve persimmons. Ha ha ha. Nasty. (On the other hand, they got a delicious snack by hollowing their persimmons out. I got a handful of mess and seeds.)

  • Cute! But not as cute as my punkin. Nice try, though. (Edited your comment to be a link and not a huge nasty URL. ;-)

  • Turnips? I bet that worked better than the alternative - persimmons - that my teacher tried. Gooey and disastrous. Ha ha. I look forward to the pictures!
  • Hahaha, I had one teacher make her students carve those little pumpkins AND an even smaller one from a turnip! A photo is forthcoming, but not as nice as yours.
  • Very nice...they are tough to crave, but looks like did a fine job.

Your school huh? One of your future posts should be a photo tour of it.

By the by, nice pumpkin dude. I tried to carve one a few nights ago but crushed it - too heavy handed I guess. :P
  • The single big tooth gives it away, huh, Alex? :-P
  • Did you carve that pumpkin in your own image?
  • I could eat you up cutie.

So not gay. Except on Halloween.
  • You all should get one. So there.
  • Kathy
The second one should be your new facebook photo. But you never update your photo there haha.

And, no, I'm not getting a gravatar. =P
  • Thanks, Greg!

The pictures were taken in the hallway of the school, impromptu the day after I carved it. (With my camera.)
