Singapore

April 15th, 2008

Alright, alright. I’m getting around to it! :-) Here’s a quick gallery of snapshots from my 2 days in Singapore. There are comments in the captions. I’ve tried to make them succinct, so they won’t truncate on low resolution browsers. But really, I have to suggest that you go with a high screen resolution, that will at least let you view 600 x 800 vertical shots without autoscaling! Yes, I’m one of those annoying people who sets mine to the max. Ha ha. If you want to see a better version, you can open the picture in a new window instead of in the overlay. That way it will be viewable in its entirety. I really don’t like the autoscale feature of this overlay script…but I like it a hair more than the old one. Hmmm. Anyway, enjoy!

I’ll write more about the Singapore leg of the trip when I post the video clips from it…hopefully tomorrow! Feel free to ask questions though. :-)

  • Sure! I'll be looking forward to it. :) I don't mean to pressure you or anything. After all, it has been almost half a year and I'm still not done putting up my Taiwan stuff.

  • Bryan - the trip was amazing! I do enjoy going out of the country. Japan is great, but I do begin to get tired of it once in a while. It always helps to restore my perspective. Now I'm back and ready for more. Malaysia was really neat, and I definitely got to see some jungle. You'll see that coming up next week, so just gimme the weekend to get those posts ready for you. :-)
  • How was the trip, by the way? Did it do you good to get out of the country for awhile? I always come back from trips well refreshed (only to find an insane amount of work piled up on my desk!) and full of energy, even if I run myself dead during the trips.

I've always wanted to visit Malaysia. I used to have several acquaintances from Malaysia and it looked like a fun place to visit. Did you get out to the countryside and see any jungle?
