Facebook Feed on the Fritz

What gives? Anybody know how to fix this? If I enable smartfeed or something in FeedBurner will it help? Is there a way to tell it to ignore WordPress markup? Is it a character encoding issue? Hmmm…

It’s replacing some punctuation with code burps, showing the < div > tags that I use to position things, and otherwise just looking bad. Any help would be appreciated. :-|

  • Clay - I am just like you in that regard. I have an account and all, but I rarely update it. And I hated the chat thing that they implemented, so I signed it off permanently last night. I want to be able to lurk in the quiet while updating the profile when I'm doing it, if I'm going to do it at all. Ha ha. I'm becoming an electronic selective hermit. And the RSS options is simply the latest change to register on your RSS feed. Even if it's not technically a post. ;-)

  • alteration always amuses accepting annoying alliteration and all never mind I can't continue. I gave up I my feed thing there a while ago, though my shared items works. I don't know if it announces to people every time I share something; I'm off facebook as much as possible. Always.

  • Alex - I have no free food for frogs, far-flying, frolicking or otherwise! :-P
  • Facebook feed on the fritz?! Forlorn feelings, friend? Nevertheless, feel fulfilled with fun feelings of frolicking frogs flying far for free food.

  • I will look into Friendfeed. Thanks for the tip. I just plugged my RSS feed into the Notes settings. Hmmm. There has got to be a better way!
  • yuck. Strange that it does that. To put my feeds on facebook, I use the friendfeed app (which requires you to get friendfeed - very nice service, though). Friendfeed works for me, anyways, though I've never tried adding feeds directly to my facebook mini-feed. Didn't even know you could, actually.
