It's not very friendly at first, but once you get the idea of "modes", it is the most powerful editor there is. I used to use annotations on YouTube too, but there are some severe limitations. (Inaccurate timing and the inability to do one language on screen at a time...etc.) If you come to Japan, you should definitely try to participate in a summer camp. They're super rewarding.
