Bridal Show Job

September 18th, 2009

The video basically explains itself. But here’s the company that I did this for – Ikeda & Co. You can even see me in the background of a few gallery photos now. I’ll see if I can get my hands on some sharper shots. Great time! I’ll see everyone after Silver Week. :-D

  • Not rocking in HAKATA today, are we :D? How handsome! Plus, the part about walking was a really nice bonus to watch and hear. Thank you!
  • A guy I knew in Niihama told me about a gig in a similar vein, where they were hiring foreigners to perform the role of the actual minister or priest at a western style Japanese wedding. You had to memorise the spiel they gave you (in Japanese) and dress up in the appropriate garments and got paid pretty handsomely as far as I remember. All for show, of course.

Maybe you should watch it in slowmo! ;-)
  • haha, i did this too, for Ikeda san. Maybe three years back, he dressed me up like a chimney sweep. I was on the door, he gave me 5 thousand yen i think, or was it 3. That place is right by matsumotocho, i used to live right by there so he stopped me one time on the way to work. Quite like to go back to imabari actually, worked at the GEOS in SATY but then suddenly upped and done a runner to tokyo, so i dont think Imabari would have me back to be honest.
